Somercam Building Service commenced business on 9th March, 1993. Our home town is Somerset, a seaside village by the Cam River, 6 kms to the centre the City of Burnie. Inspiration for our name came from our unique picturesque location on the north west coast of Tasmania.
The majority of our home and commercial work is in Burnie, Wynyard, Somerset, Mount Hicks, Yolla, Elliott, Sisters Beach, Boat Harbour and surrounding rural and regional communities. We also travel to other areas on the north west and west coast.
We employ a team of qualified and experienced home and commercial builders and sub-contract tradesmen to ensure your project is completed in a professional and timely manner
Project Management
Somercam Building Service can co-ordinate and supervise all associated trades throughout your project such as plumbing, electrical, joinery, plastering, painting, tiling, bricklayers, roofing and guttering, heat pump installers, insulation, floorcovering installers, concrete finishers and all suppliers.
We liaise with other accredited professionals, when needed, to assist you with design, engineering, building surveying and obtaining approvals through to successful completion of your project.
Quotations
We provide quotes and estimates and use Housing Industry Association contracts.
